Riverside has been named two years in a row as one of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals®, and in 2007 one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals® for cardiovascular care by Thomson Reuters Healthcare. These awards recognizes hospitals that have achieved excellence in clinical outcomes, patient safety, financial performance, and efficiency. The cardiovascular award is based on a hospital's performance treating congestive heart failure and heart attacks.

Riverside Medical Center has received several top five-star ratings from HealthGrades®. These five-star ratings were seen in treatment of heart failure, overall orthopedic services, joint replacement, total knee replacement, spine surgery, total hip replacement, prostatectomy, carotid surgery, treatment of stroke, cholecystectomy, back and neck surgery with and without spinal fusion.

Riverside has also received several HealthGrades®' Specialty Excellence Awards™ in Treatment of Stroke, Overall Orthopedic Services, Spine Surgery, and Joint Replacement for being within the top 5% and 10% in the nation in these categories. Riverside has also received HealthGrades®' Patient Safety Excellence Award for four consecutive years in a row.
