Riverside Medical Center proudly announces it's latest awards and rankings from leading healthcare ratings organizations including HealthGrades® and Thomson-Reuters Top 100 Hospitals.

Riverside has been named both one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals®, and one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals® for cardiovascular care by Thomson Healthcare, a leading provider of information and solutions to improve the cost and quality of healthcare. These awards recognize hospitals that have achieved excellence in clinical outcomes, patient safety, financial performance, and efficiency. The cardiovascular award is based on a hospital’s performance treating congestive heart failure and heart attacks.

Riverside Medical Center has received several top five-star ratings from HealthGrades®. These five-star ratings were seen in coronary bypass surgery, treatment of heart failure, total knee replacement, back and neck surgery (with spinal fusion and without), carotid surgery, prostatectomy, and cholecystectomy.

Riverside has also received several HealthGrades®’ Specialty Excellence Awards™ in Cardiac Care, Cardiac Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Spine Surgery, and Gastrointestinal Surgery, for being in the top 10% in the nation in these categories.
