KANKAKEE, IL (November 15, 2012) – Helping women through pregnancy and the delivery process is not a new role for Certified Nurse Midwife Nicole Nettgen, CNM. The difference is that she’s now bringing her 15 years of midwife services to the Riverside Medical Group.

Riverside Medical Group is proud to offer the community members an alternative option for their pregnancy and gynecological care. Nettgen is working with obstetrician/gynecologists Drs. Lizy Andrews and Mini Sreedevi of the Riverside Women and Children’s Health Center at 338 Larry Power Road in Bourbonnais.

“I strive to grow a compassionate and friendly partnership to best meet the needs of a woman and her family,” Nettgen said. “My goal is that through communication, plans of care are created together and relationships are strengthened and well-being is enhanced.”

Nettgen received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Midwifery from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, neonatal resuscitation, first aid and Implanon/Nexplanon.

Nettgen’s services include gynecological care, obstetrics, contraception and screenings. She is accepting new patients at the Riverside Women and Children’s Health Center. To schedule an appointment, call (815) 935-4651.
