Riverside’s Diabetes Prevention Program Will Help Get You on a Healthy Track

Kankakee, IL (November 21, 2012) – High blood pressure, high cholesterol, weight, inactivity and family history help determine your risk for diabetes. Cut down your risk of heart attack, stroke and blindness by preventing diabetes before it starts. Riverside’s Diabetes Prevention Program can help!

The Diabetes Prevention Program is a program for people with metabolic syndrome, borderline diabetes, family history of or concerns about developing diabetes. Clinicians will help you determine your risk for diabetes and provide the support and guidance needed to avoid it.
