"Living with Heart Failure" presented by Dr. Philip Hays and Liz Wirth, Certified Heart Failure Nurse

KANKAKEE, IL (September 27, 2012) - Nearly five million American adults suffer from heart failure and nearly one million of these patients are admitted to hospitals annually.  Managing this complex yet common condition requires the right information and resources.

Join Dr. Philip Hays, Cardiologist, and Liz Wirth, RN, MSN, APN/CCNS, Certified Heart Failure Nurse and Program Coordinator at Riverside Medical Center, as they present “Living Well with Heart Failure” during October’s Senior Advantage Luncheon.   The presentation and luncheon will be held on Wednesday, October 10 from 11 a.m to       1 p.m. at Riverside Medical Center’s Johnson Lecture Hall at 350 N Wall Street in Kankakee.  The lecture hall is located in the basement level at the North end  of the hospital
