About Me
Dr. Rashed is a radiation doctor for cancer treatment in Bourbonnais who treats adults with cancer using radiation therapy. Her care focuses on clear expectations, daily support through treatment and long-term follow-up after radiation treatment.
I chose medicine because I wanted work that felt deeply meaningful. In radiation oncology, patients place a lot of trust in the team, and I take that seriously. Treatment can be hard, so I am honest about what to expect while reminding patients, “We’re here to support them.” I see every patient as someone with a family and a life that matters, and I use the resources available to pursue cure whenever that is possible. I completed my Doctor of Medicine degree at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago and my radiation oncology residency at Loyola University Health Systems in Maywood. I am board certified by the American Board of Radiology in radiation oncology. My clinical focus includes oncology and radiation treatment for cancer, including planning care, guiding patients safely through treatment and continuing follow-up after therapy over time.
