About Me

Dr. Akinde received her master of public health and doctor of medicine degrees at Drexel University in Philadelphia. She then completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.

In addition to her education, Dr. Akinde has several published works and research projects. She is also a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

My overall experience was good. I just feel like I wasted my gas and morning to drive 45 minutes to the clinic to be told an answer to my test results. That could've been told to me over the phone two months ago.

I recommend Dr. Akinde to anyone looking for an OB-GYN. She is the best! She takes the time to listen to concerns, and explains everything really well.

She was nice thoughout the whole process and made sure all my questions where answered.

The Dr explained the different options for birth control and any possible side effects. Talked about how I can stop any of them when I wanted and if one didn't work out there were plenty of other options to try
