An estimated 17.9 million Americans have been diagnosed with diabetes, and unfortunately, 5.7 million people (or nearly one-third) are unaware that they even have the disease. Riverside Medical Center is dedicated to both the discovery and treatment of this chronic disease and because of this we have created a unique program to help each individual manage his or her specific condition.

The American Diabetes Association (ADA) recognizes Riverside Diabetes Wellness Center for outstanding patient education services in diabetes. We are the first provider in the region to attain this level of recognition.
