Heel screening to determine the risk of fracture. -
$20 Hemoglobin A1C Screenings
Helps reduce your risk of diabetic complications by determining your average glucose value over a two to three month period. Includes an RN consultation. -
$30 Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA)
Ultrasound of the abdominal aorta to screen for a weak area or bulge (aneurysm). This can be caused by "hardening of the arteries", high blood pressure, smoking and/or a family history of an aneurysm. -
$30 Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD)
Blood pressure reading of the arms and legs used to determine whether the veins are narrowed or clogged. Risk factors are being over the age of 50, smoker, diabetic, overweight, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. -
$30 Carotid Artery Disease (Stroke)
Ultrasound of the arteries in the neck to screen for potential build up of plaque which can then block the flow of blood to the brain. This can then result in a stroke. Risk factors are high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, and a build up of plaque, smoking, overweight, excessive alcohol consumption and age.
