Image-Guided Surgery
The StealthStation ® treatment guidance system at Riverside provides a three-dimensional (3D) view inside of the spine or brain during surgery. This advanced technology helps surgeons pinpoint the exact location they need to reach, without disturbing nearby healthy tissue, nerves or blood vessels. Two-dimensional images, like those from an X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound, are transferred to the StealthStation® computer and then transformed into life-like 3D images.
