Survivorship Program
The Riverside Cancer Institute Survivorship Program is led by nurse practitioner, Kim Shelanskey, MSN, FNP, AOCNP. Kim specializes in cancer survivorship and is here to support you every step of the way. This ongoing program assists patients by providing a treatment summary, reviewing ongoing issues from treatment effects, identifying lifestyle and behavioral modifications to optimize overall health and reduce the risk of recurrent cancer and continuing the process of cancer surveillance.

Fueling for Recovery Cooking Demonstrations
This periodic program invites Riverside Cancer Institute patients and caregivers to attend an interactive cooking demonstration to learn simple cooking tips and tricks to keep meals fresh, nutritious and tasty.

Support Groups for Men and Women
These monthly support group provides information, resources, discussion and support for male and female cancer survivors.

Living Anew, a Survivorship Program for Women
This ten week program is offered twice per year and enhances peace, meaning and vibrancy for women who are cancer survivors. Living Anew improves each participant’s overall emotional and physical health after cancer treatment.
