The Well In Mind Employee Support Program is a free and confidential supportive service provided by Riverside Healthcare for their employees and their household members. The Well In Mind programs provide expanded offerings focusing on support, prevention and a mindful approach to mental health and well-being. Your Well In Mind Coordinator/Counselor serves as a link between you and professional resources in the community to assist you in achieving wellness.

    Employees can call (815) 933-2240 at any time to schedule time to speak with your Well In Mind Coordinator/Counselor. Please identify yourself as a Riverside Healthcare employee and clinic staff will direct you to the appropriate resources.

    The Cost

    All the preventative education and classes are free to employees through the REACH program. In addition, employees and immediate family members are offered three free initial visits for one-on-one counseling. If additional services are appropriate, referrals will be made. If you choose to seek professional assistance from a community resource, you will be responsible for any costs not covered by your medical insurance plan.


    A key element of the Well In Mind counseling sessions is confidentiality—to protect you and to encourage your participation. Your discussion with the Well In Mind Coordinator/Counselor and the assistance you receive will be held in the strictest confidence. You will not have to share any information with your supervisor or anyone else at work. NO INFORMATION WILL BE SHARED WITHOUT YOUR WRITTEN CONSENT. Your job and promotional opportunities will not be placed in jeopardy because of your participation in the program.

    Mandatory Referral

    Riverside reserves the right to require employees to attend an Employee Support Program session if work attendance, behavior, or performance is substandard. Please review the Riverside Human Resources Policies and Procedures handbook.
