Respiratory Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program Print Friendly and PDF

The Pulmonary Rehabilitation program at Riverside Medical Center has worked diligently to meet Medicare reimbursement requirements. As a result, the program accepts Medicare patients who qualify.

Riverside's Pulmonary Rehabilitation program treats patients who suffer from chronic respiratory diseases, such as lung disease, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Personalized to each individual, the program involves medical management, exercise training, breathing retraining, education, nutritional counseling and emotional support to help reduce symptoms and complications, optimize exercise performance, encourage self-management, improve emotional well-being and reduce hospitalizations.
