Riverside’s celebration of Heart Month also includes Heart Care Information tables every
Wednesday of the month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Riverside Medical Center South Lobby – 350 N. Wall Street, Kankakee. Visit the Riverside Heart Team to get your blood pressure taken, learn more about the Riverside Heart & Vascular Institute, and enjoy a heart-healthy snack!

Galentines Trivia Night

Grab a team and join us for a Galentine's Trivia Night on Tuesday, February 13th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lush Vine, 150 N Schuyler Ave Suite 101 in Kankakee. This fun-filled evening will blend the charm of beloved rom-coms with facts about heart health. Cost is $10 a person and limited space is available. Registration is required. Register here.

KVSO Concert - Hope for Joy

Join the Kankakee Vally Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, February 17, at 7 p.m. at the Morning Star Baptist Church for their February concert sponsored by Riverside Heart & Vascular Institute. This is a ticketed event, find out more here.

Art4Heart Art Show and Reception

The annual Art4Heart Art Show and Reception will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 5 to 7 p.m. at The Majestic, 150 N. Schuyler Ave. in Kankakee. Explore the journey to a healthy heart through the artist’s eye. This unique event, now in its 13th year, features artwork submissions from area high school students. There will be refreshments, music and art...for your heart.

Riverside Purchases IMH Ambulance Service

Riverside Medical Center has purchased the Iroquois Memorial Hospital (IMH) Ambulance Service and will take over its operation starting January 1, 2019. Riverside and IMH made the joint announcement on December 13, indicating the purchase is a sign of the continually changing healthcare landscape.
