Riverside Healthcare provided a relief check to the Storm to Strength Initiative for $15,000. The Initiative stands with individuals and families impacted by the March 10, 2026, EF-3 tornado in Kankakee by providing urgent relief, recovery resources, and compassionate community support. Its mission is to help survivors rebuild homes, restore stability, and transform loss into lasting resilience and strength.
“We are very pleased to provide some assistance in these important efforts,” states Riverside President and CEO Phil Kambic. “Including generous donations, Riverside was also able to assist numerous employees who were affected, with everything as simple as a broken windshield, to financial support for those who had catastrophic losses. That financial total comes to more than $52,000 to date.”
Combined with today’s check to Storm to Strength, total relief provided by Riverside has reached $67,000.
Present for the presentation are Kambic, Storm to Strength board member Meghan Elliott, Riverside ER Manager and Storm to Strength board member Drew Ogrentz and Storm to Strength board member Steve Harrison.
