Dr. Shin is Now Seeing Patients at Orthopedic Specialists in Bourbonnais

KANKAKEE, IL (October 9, 2018) - Riverside Healthcare is pleased to welcome Orthopedic Surgeon, Jessica Shin, MD. Dr. Shin is now seeing patients at Orthopedic Specialists, located at 400 Riverside Drive, Suite 1600 in Bourbonnais.

Dr. Shin received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, IA. She then completed an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis, MN. Additionally, Dr. Shin pursued an Orthopaedic Surgery Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, UT.
Dr. Shin is board eligible in orthopedic surgery. In addition to her education, she is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Her years of experience covering both high school athletes as well as professional athletes have prepared her for a new role in treating her patients with sports-related injuries.
