Specialized Procedures

Cystoscopy

Cystoscopy is a diagnostic procedure that allows a urologist to examine the inside of the urethra, prostate, and bladder using a tiny camera. While the thought of a procedure can be stressful, this is routine and generally not painful. It allows your specialist to gather valuable information to accurately diagnose and treat your condition.

Kidney Stone Treatment (ESWL)

Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) is a noninvasive procedure used to treat kidney stones. It uses high-energy shock waves to break up stones into smaller fragments, allowing you to pass them more easily. It may take days or weeks after the procedure to pass stones completely.

Vasectomy

If you and your partner are considering permanent birth control options, a vasectomy may be the right choice. Riverside Urology Specialists offers both no-scalpel and traditional vasectomies.
