About Me
Dr. Powell is a family medicine doctor in Momence who cares for children and adults, with a focus on diabetes, asthma and patient education.
I pursued medicine because I enjoy learning and teaching. Early in medical school, a mentor helped me see that family medicine fit my personality and the way I wanted to care for people. I earned my medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed family medicine residency training through the University of Illinois at Chicago AIMMC Family Practice Residency.
