About Me

Dr. George is a family medicine doctor in Frankfort who cares for children and adults, with focus on prevention, women’s care and patient education.

Family medicine is meaningful to me because it lets me connect with patients over time and build relationships that support their health. I value education because when patients understand what is happening in their bodies, they can make lasting changes. "Educate patients on their health care." That is one of the biggest ways I can help. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University and completed family medicine residency training at United Health Services in Johnson City, New York. I also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Language and Mind from New York University. I am board certified in family medicine. My clinical interests include overall wellness, women’s care, disease prevention and health education. I want patients to leave with a clearer understanding of their health and what they can do next. Education gives patients confidence, and confidence can make healthy change feel more possible.

I always recommend Riverside to my family and friends. Dr. Princy George is truly exceptional, she never rushes through appointments, asks thoughtful, thorough questions, and takes the time to carefully review my medical history. She's compassionate, attentive, and consistently provides outstanding care. The nurses that my take vitals at the start of each visit are always so kind and welcoming, which makes every appointment feel comfortable from the moment I walk in. I've never had anything but a great experience with any doctor or staff member there.

Dr. George took no accountability for her colleague's mistake when I asked why I would be blamed for something the doctor did. Patients are not told what to do if the doctor miswrites a prescription, yet I was treated as if I had clear instructions on it. Her rude tone and facial expression were really unfortunate- even if she couldn't change the outcome, she could have showed kindness. She did not.

Rating #3 is very important to me: Care provider's efforts to include you in decisions about your care. The discussion with Dr George was very collaborative! We are completely on the same page about minimal medication where possible, good nutrition, exercise, getting enough sleep! This was my first appointment with Dr George, she was everything I hoped for in a Primary Care Physician.

Cons:Although normally I feel the 1-on-1 PCP visits aFirst time Pros:THIS was the FIRST time (out of ... ... Maybe 7 or 8 DIFFERENT times/OPPORTUNITIES that one of the healthcare professionals could have mentioned this potentially being an issue) that someone (specifically/thankfully Dr. George) pointed out/SUGGESTED that I discuss my upcoming procedure with my Methadone Clinic, in terms of pain-management both DURING , AND AFTER my surgery.
