About Me

Dr. Chandan is a family medicine doctor in Bourbonnais who cares for children and adults, with a focus on prevention, healthy lifestyles and family-centered care.

I have been part of this community since completing my training, and staying here gave me the chance to give back through family medicine. I chose this field because it allows me to care for people when they are sick and when they are well. "The great physician treats the patient who has the disease." I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed a family medicine residency through the University of Illinois at Chicago and Advocate Christ Medical Center, and earned a Master of Science in Pharmacology from the University of Minnesota. I am board certified in family medicine. My care includes annual physicals, disease prevention and family medicine for children and adults. today.

I straight up told my doctor that I am depressed (for multiple reasons, one of the reasons is my job) and she told me to get a new job. There was no suggestions about help for this problem, no further talk about why I'm depressed, and how can she help me. Nothing.
