Specialized Therapy

Cardiac Therapy for Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD)

Peripheral artery disease (PAD) is a condition where narrowed blood vessels reduce blood flow to the legs and feet. Symptoms can include pain, numbness, and tingling in the calves and thighs — and in some cases, wounds on the legs or feet.

Supervised Exercise Therapy for PAD

If you experience pain in your legs during physical activity that goes away with rest (called intermittent claudication), you may benefit from our Supervised Exercise Therapy (SET) program for PAD.

Our SET/PAD program is designed to improve your ability to walk farther and function better in your daily life. You'll work with our multidisciplinary team, who will monitor your progress and help you manage risk factors — many of which overlap with heart attack and stroke risk.
