Titleist Performance Institute

The newly launched Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) golf rehabilitation program from Riverside Healthcare is geared toward golf enthusiasts looking to elevate their game.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer this program to our community,” says TPI-certified Riverside physical therapist Marcus Rinaldi, DPT. "Our goal is to provide golfers with the specialized care they need to stay healthy and enjoy the game for years to come.”

What is the goal of Riverside’s TPI rehabilitation program?

This program aims to help golfers overcome performance limitations, including pain, range of motion, and stability, by finding a medically based and specialized solution to fit their needs.

If a patient needs more than exercise, Riverside’s highly trained physical therapy team can transition the patient to traditional physical therapy to treat musculoskeletal issues further with joint assessment and treatment utilizing exercise and hands-on therapy.

How does the program work?

Participants will undergo an initial assessment from one of Riverside’s TPI-certified physical therapists that looks at the following key areas:

  • Swing Mechanics
  • Biomechanics
  • Physical Fitness
  • Movement Quality
  • Current Health
  • Injury History

Based on the assessment results, Riverside’s expert team will create a rehabilitation plan addressing your needs, from personalized fitness training to targeted physical therapy and treatment.

“Every golf swing is different, which is why treatment plans are tailored to each golfer,” says TPI-certified Riverside physical therapist Alex Denklau, DPT, “Being able to work individually with each golfer is what makes this program successful, and we are excited to see the positive impact it has on the golf community.”

Golfers interested in scheduling an assessment can call (815) 802-7090, option 4 for Bourbonnais Physical Therapy, or (815) 464-5440 for Riverside’s Frankfort Campus Physical Therapy.
