Phil Kambic, president and CEO of Riverside Healthcare has announced the promotion of Patt Vilt, CPA, MBA, MJ, to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. She will continue as Riverside’s Chief Compliance Officer.

Vilt has more than 25 years of healthcare finance experience, with over 20 of those in a leadership position. In her new role, Vilt is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight to the Finance and General Accounting areas of Riverside.
"Patt has exhibited a remarkable commitment to the success of Riverside," Kambic said. "Her knowledge and experience are evident throughout her tenure, and have been immeasurably valuable as we navigated the tough financial terrain throughout 2020. We are confident in her leadership to address the ever-changing world of healthcare finance."
Having begun her career at Riverside in 1995, Vilt has worked in the broad areas of healthcare finance including reimbursement, budget, internal audit and revenue cycle for both the hospital and physician network. Most recently she held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. She replaces Bill Douglas who served as Riverside CFO since 2001.
Vilt earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana University, her Master of Business Administration in Finance from Lewis University and her Master of Jurisprudence in Health Law at Loyola University School of Law. She holds a CPA certificate (Illinois) and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, American College of Healthcare Executives and the Health Care Compliance Association.
Vilt is the incoming board chair for the national board of 340B Health. She is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and is past president of the first Illinois chapter of HFMA. She also serves on the Finance Committee for Uplifted Care, founded as Hospice of Kankakee Valley. Additionally, she serves on the Foundational Board for Kankakee Community College.
