Shiva Shashidhara, MD

KANKAKEE, IL (August 10, 2018) - Riverside Healthcare is pleased to welcome Cardiologist, Shiva Shashidharan, MD. Dr. Shashidharan is now accepting patients at the Riverside Heart & Vascular Institute, Cardiology Specialists located at 500 N. Wall Street in Kankakee, IL.

Dr. Shashidharan completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences, located in Bellary, India. He then continued his training through an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, located in Pittsburgh, PA and completed a Fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, IL.




Dr. Shashidaran is board-certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also board-certified in Echocardiography through the American Society of Echocardiography and board-certified in Nuclear Cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.




In addition to his education, Dr. Shashidharan is a member of the American College of Cardiology Fellows in Training and the American Medical Association.
