Dr. Tu Cao

KANKAKEE, IL (October 16, 2018) - Riverside Healthcare is pleased to welcome Interventional Cardiologist, Dr. Tu Cao. Dr. Cao is now seeing patients at Riverside Heart and Vascular Institute Cardiovascular Specialists, located at 500 N. Wall Street, Suite C100 in Kankakee.

Dr. Cao received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. Dr. Cao continued his post-graduate education through a Fellowship in General Cardiology at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Corinth, MS, followed by a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology through Midwestern University at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL.

In addition to his education, Dr. Cao is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also board certified in Echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography and board certified in Nuclear Cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
