Phillip M. Kambic

KANKAKEE, IL (January 11, 2019) - Phillip M. Kambic, Riverside President and CEO


has


been named Chair-elect to the Illinois Health & Hospital Association’s 2019 Board of Trustees. IHA serves to represent more than 200 hospitals and nearly 50 health systems across Illinois. The association promotes advocacy and policy-making in local, state and national governments.

Kambic had previously served as the Board’s Treasurer in 2018. As Chair-elect, he will work alongside Board Chair Mary Starmann-Harrison and the other members of the 2019 Illinois Health & Hospital Association's Board including :

  • Immediate Past Chair: William Santulli, Chief Operating Officer of Advocate Aurora Health.
  • Treasurer: Karen Teitelbaum, President

    and

    CEO of Sinai Health System in Chicago.
  • Secretary: Ted Rogalski, Administrator of Genesis Medical Center in Aledo.
  • President: A.J. Wilhelmi, president

    and

    CEO of IHA.

Trustees elected to serve a three-year term include:

  • Steven Airhart, CEO of Hartgrove Behavioral Health System and Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital in Chicago.
  • J.P. Gallagher, president

    and

    CEO of NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston.
  • Dr. James Leonard, president

    and

    CEO of the Carle Foundation in Urbana.
  • George Miller, president

    and

    CEO of Loretto Hospital in Chicago.
  • Kerry Swanson, regional president of SSM Health Illinois in Mt. Vernon and Centralia.
