Dr. Asamoah completed her doctor medicine degree at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, and her obstetrics & gynecology residency at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University in Detroit.

In addition to her education, Dr. Asamoah is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Medical Association, and the National Medical Association. She is also board-eligible in obstetrics and gynecology from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

She is a phenomenal physician. In her area of medicine there can often be anxiety, she eliminates any of it. She is thorough, clear in her thought process and very explicit in her explanation.

The doctor did not go through treatment plan. They didn't discuss how they will manage my care. Only discussed risks of my birth plan at length with no mention of the potential benefits or the risks vs benefits of the alternative options. They also didn't follow up on key things we discussed. I have been off a medication I need for weeks and explained this to the doctor. She agreed with me continuing the medication then made no mention of it in the note and has not coordinated care with my PCP. Our ultrasound was done by the doctor bedside and it was extremely rushed and not reassuring.

Dr. Asamoah was phenominal! She was very kind during my first visit meeting her. I had a few concerns and she listened empathetically and made a plan and further testing. Thank you for your gentle care!

Dr Asamoah is by far the best part of my pregnancy journey. Every step of the way she was completely trustworthy, reassuring, and caring. There is no one else I would have wanted to guide me through this process, from my first appointment with her to delivering my baby by emergency c section in a timely manner. I can't thank her enough for being such an amazing doctor. Our family absolutely adores her for everything she has done for us!
