About Me
A Message from Cristian Salazar, FNP-C:
I chose a career in medicine because math and science were always my favorite subjects, and I knew I wanted my work to include helping people. Nursing felt like a natural start, and medicine became the next step. I was first drawn into neurology while working in the ICU, where I saw “the severity of neurological conditions” and it truly “spiked my interest in neurology.” This work is also personal to me—people in my own life have dealt with conditions like migraines. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Northern Kentucky University and my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capella University, and I’m board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. I want patients and families to know, “I do care,” and I will keep working to find solutions.
