At first I would have recommended anyone to this practice but now that I've seen my PCP for the 3rd time and the most horrible experiences I've ever had with any doctor lately no I wouldn't even recommend my worst enemy!
She is very nice,but she is always in a hurry to leave, I feel a bit ignored she really does not listen to me it's like she is on a time limit and will not llisten, it's like you don't have time to explain things. Last time I was there she came in and started to talk about my knee and I didn't even mention anything about my knee I don't like the Tha fact that you have to go over you problems with the nurse first an she tells the doctor but if you forget something you don't have time to discuss it with the doctor
I chose Dr. Alston to take over my primary care. She listened to me and and even gave my grand daughter some information to help her with her job so she can drive me to appointments.
Dr. Alston was very personable. She listened to and clearly answered all my questions.
Dr. Alston responded well when I shared my struggles with living with a chronic disease, and came up with a good idea about a question I could ask my specialist to try to help alleviate my concerns. Dr. Alston does not always seem to be aware of or review every ongoing health condition that I have, though.

Dr. Alston was very considerate and took the time to explain what she thought was going on.
She didn't discuss any medical treatments with me. She simply confirmed the issues I have had. But there was no dis ussion on the treatment.

I ask her about my swollen ankles said it from my high blood pressure. My blood pressure is extremely high just said will up my linispore meds didn't even look at my ankles ask about water pills she just walked out of room. I going to be looking for an another doctor after this. This isn't the first time she act like she doesn't care about her patients she don't even interact well with patients I asked about her after this appointment on my neighborhood facebook group and alot of former patients and family members of patients had responded with her bad bedside manner and don't answer questions. I also told her I was out of my other meds and needed refill she didn't even do a refill I had to go into my chart and requested it again thanks to the receptionist who told me to do that or I wouldn't got it.
