About Me

Leanne Bishop, MSN, APRN, CNM is a women's health provider in Bourbonnais and Kankakee, with a focus on preconception counseling, menopause, polycystic ovarian syndrome and perimenopause.

I knew early that I wanted to be a nurse because I loved science, medicine, and caring for people. When I started working in labor and delivery, I realized how much I valued women’s health and the chance to support patients through personal questions and important changes.
I completed graduate studies at University of Illinois at Chicago (Chicago) and completed graduate studies at Olivet Nazarene University (Bourbonnais, Illinois). I am board certified in Midwifery by the American Midwifery Certification Board. My clinical focus includes preconception counseling, gynecology, menopause, polycystic ovarian syndrome and related care.

She was very thorough and knowledgeable about my daughter's past. It had been a few years but she was up to date on her charts.
