About Me

Dr. Huynh is a heart doctor in Kankakee who provides cardiovascular care with a focus on patient education, prevention and treatment planning. She works with patients to help them understand their heart health and make informed decisions.

I grew up in a remote area of Vietnam where my family had to travel hundreds of miles for care. That experience shaped my commitment to making health care more reachable for every community I serve. Cardiology drew me in because it is challenging, rewarding and often life-changing. My goal is to teach patients about their heart health and help them make informed choices about prevention and treatment. My philosophy is simple: I take care of my patients like my own family. I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University of Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed my internal medicine residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and completed a cardiology fellowship at Deborah Heart and Lung Center. I am certified by the American Society of Echocardiography and provide cardiovascular care focused on education, communication and long-term heart health.
