Before Dr. Mathew joined Riverside, she was a primary care physician for over ten years at Michigan Avenue Immediate Care & Primary Care in Chicago.

Dr. Mathew received her Doctor of Allopathic Medicine at St. Christopher Iba Mar Diop College of Medicine in the United Kingdom. She then completed her family medicine residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois.

Dr. Mathew is thorough, concerned. So many clinics want the doctors to spend such a short amount of time with each patient so the doc can see more patients. I think that is ridiculous. Patients shouldn't be rushed and docs should have enough time to discuss health with each patient.

Dr. Nibby Matthews Is the absolute best Doctor in her field.A true asset to Riverside! She's especially great with kids of all ages and has a great bedside manner. She truly gives you her undivided attention & time during the visit, And for the rest of the staff, the ladies that get you all checked in and paperwork filled out are friendly and helpful. While not my first visit at your clinic, this was my first visit with Dr Mathew. In short she gets an A++. Her preventative approach to medicine and healthcare is so aligned with my own. I had an 11:00 appointment, her last of the day. I waited in the exam room for 55 minutes. I knew the Doctor was delayed as I could hear the muffled conversation the prior patient was having with Dr. Mathew. She apologised profusely for the long delay and said she was not going to rush me. She gave me the same courtisy to explain my issue as she did with the prior patient. She really was outstanding! Very warm, friendly and explained everything so well. I hope she stays with the practice!

Was given the same treatment plan as before that I mentioned did not work. It seems like the severity of my pain did not matter. The doctor knew I went to the ER twice in a 10 hour span but I was still told the same thing she said before. I told her PT did not help and wanted to try something else or go on to the next step, which I was told there was a "next step" when I saw another doctor as this facility. When I asked about what to do next she just went back to square one with stretching and light exercises, which if PT didn't work I don't know how that would.
