Ozair Rahman, MD

Dr. Ozair Rahman, MD, is a board-certified Interventional Radiologist with advanced training in minimally invasive, image guided therapies for complex medical conditions. His practice focuses on achieving excellent clinical outcomes while minimizing pain, risk, and recovery time through thoughtful, patient-centered care grounded in clarity, trust, and shared decision making.

Dr. Rahman treats a broad spectrum of vascular and non-vascular conditions, including peripheral arterial and venous disease, pulmonary embolism, pain management, complex venous disorders, and image guided oncologic and non oncologic interventions. He provides care across both inpatient and outpatient settings, allowing him to design treatment strategies tailored to each patient’s goals, health needs, and lifestyle.

He completed fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the Dotter Department of Interventional Radiology at Oregon Health & Science University. Prior to this, Dr. Rahman completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University, including Early Specialization in Interventional Radiology (ESIR), and an internship in Internal Medicine; experience that continues to inform his clinical judgment and procedural approach.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Rahman has a strong background in research and innovation, with numerous peer-reviewed publications in leading radiology and cardiovascular journals. His research interests include advanced imaging techniques such as 4D flow MRI, cardiovascular hemodynamics, and translational imaging applications that enhance diagnosis, risk stratification, and treatment planning.

Dr. Rahman’s care philosophy emphasizes interventional treatments delivered with compassion, transparency, and precision; empowering patients to understand their options and move forward with confidence.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with family, photography, travel, and he values maintaining balance and perspective both inside and outside the clinical setting.
