Riverside Healthcare to Host Baby & Beyond Fair for Growing Families

Riverside Healthcare invites expectant parents, those planning a pregnancy, and families with young children to attend its annual Baby & Beyond Fair on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Riverside Healthcare Pavilion, 375 N. Wall St. in Kankakee.

The Baby & Beyond Fair is a free, family-friendly event designed to support families from pregnancy through early childhood with education, resources, and community connections.

Attendees can explore a variety of offerings, including:

• Interactive presentations on topics such as infant CPR, postpartum depression, and understanding your child’s care team
• Tours of Riverside’s Family Birthing Center
• Birth education and parenting resources
• Opportunities to meet Riverside providers
• Community vendors and local organizations
• Food vendors, giveaways, and family-friendly activities

“The Baby & Beyond Fair is all about helping families feel confident and supported whether they’re expecting their first child or raising young children,” said Heather Davis, Director of Women's & Children's services at Riverside. “It’s a chance to connect with trusted providers, learn important skills, and discover resources right here in our community.”

The event will also feature scheduled Family Birthing Center tours and expert-led presentations throughout the morning, giving attendees the opportunity to learn directly from Riverside specialists.

Baby & Beyond is open to the public at no cost. Registration is encouraged.
