About Me

Dr. Badwan is a family medicine doctor in Watseka who cares for children and adults, with a focus on prevention, lifestyle changes and family health.

I grew up knowing I wanted to help people, and my father’s heart attack made my path toward medicine even clearer. I chose family medicine because I can care for adults, children, men and women, helping the whole family in one place. I especially value prevention because it lets us catch problems before they affect daily life. "Everyone needs to have a starting point." I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Medical University of the Americas in Nevis and completed family medicine residency training at the University of Arkansas, Jonesboro. I am board-certified in family medicine. My care includes preventive medicine, lifestyle guidance, family medicine and support for patients who want practical steps they can maintain. I speak English and Arabic. I also work with patients on realistic prevention goals that fit their family, schedule and daily routine. I keep those goals moderate, flexible and built around what someone can actually sustain.
