Issra Rashed, MD

Riverside Healthcare is pleased to welcome board-certified radiation oncologist, Issra Rashed, MD.
Dr. Rashed completed her doctor of medicine and radiation oncology residency training at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois.
Dr. Rashed specializes in the treatment of radiation which uses high-energy x-rays to treat cancer. She looks forward to maintaining a robust, compassionate clinical practice and strives for excellence in an effort to provide patients with the best possible treatment.
In addition to her education, Dr. Rashed has several published research works, and she is a member of a number of professional medical societies including:
  • American Board of Radiology
  • American Brachytherapy Society
  • American Society for Radiation Oncology
  • American College of Radiation Oncology
Increasing cancer awareness and access to cancer screening in the community is something Dr. Rashed is passionate about. She is now seeing patients at the Riverside Cancer Institute in Bourbonnais.
