Samrat Khanna, MD

KANKAKEE, IL (August 21, 2018) - Riverside Healthcare is pleased to welcome Pulmonologist, Samrat Khanna, MD. Dr. Khanna is now accepting patients at the Riverside Medical Group Pulmonology Specialists, located at 500 N. Wall Street, Suite C400 in Kankakee, IL.

Dr. Khanna received his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the Baroda Medical College located in Gujarat, India. Additionally, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, IL. Dr. Khanna also completed a Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at the Albert Einstein Medical Center and a Fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Temple University Hospital, both located in Philadelphia, PA.




Dr. Khanna is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is board eligible in Sleep Medicine.




In addition to his education, Dr. Khanna is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society and the American Board of Sleep Medicine.

Route 45/52 Closure Announcement Update

Road construction to effect Riverside Bourbonnais Campus. While a portion of Route 45/52 is closed in Bourbonnais between Burns Road and St. George access to Riverside’s Bourbonnais Plaza as well as the Riverside Cancer Institute and the Riverside Health Fitness Center is open to traffic coming from the north. Although signs at Rt. 45/52 indicate the road is closed south of St. George Road, access to the Riverside facilities remain open.
