Dr. Samrat Khanna received his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the Baroda Medical College located in Gujarat, India. Additionally, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, IL. Dr. Khanna also completed a Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at the Albert Einstein Medical Center and a Fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Temple University Hospital, both located in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Khanna is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is board eligible in Sleep Medicine.

In addition to his education, Dr. Khanna is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society and the American Board of Sleep Medicine.

I feel that Dr. Khanna is very good at really listening to me, his patient. And after listening, I feel he really considers my point of view and/or concerns when deciding on next steps. I feel that one of the most important qualities in a good doctor, is the ability to really listen and understand what his patient is experiencing and feeling.
