About Me
Elizabeth Deck, FNP-BC, is a primary care provider in Bourbonnais with advanced training in diabetes management and care for older adults.
I began as a nurse, became a nurse practitioner and kept looking for ways to help patients manage chronic disease. Riverside gave me the chance to help build the Diabetes Center from the ground up, and that work shaped the way I care for people. "We are partners in healthcare." I believe patients need information, support and a plan that fits real life. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice from Valparaiso University, my Master of Science in Nursing as a family nurse practitioner from Ball State University and my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Coe College. I am certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and hold advanced diabetes management and diabetes care education certifications. My clinical focus includes diabetes management and care for older adults. I also help patients break difficult health goals into smaller steps they can understand and manage.
