I felt the doctor stood up for me this time, after I complained about a new medication (Jardiance) my insurance company wanted me to take due to it being less costly than my previous medication (Farxiga). After I explained all my Issues I was having after starting the new medication, the doctor put a prescription back in for my old medication that was working for me. He added a new medication due to my kidneys and consulted with me If I wanted to do that, which felt really nice Instead of just being told to take It. I know the doctor was concerned about my kidneys and looking at his screen, but I felt he could have told me he will go over my recent blood work numbers with me when he was finished typing. I was very concerned about my recent blood test and so I kept asking about my numbers, distracting him. This office visit I felt better, more Included In what was going on with me, better explanation of a new medicine, how it will help me.

I'm a bit nervous when I go to the doctor but Dr Macaren is easy to talk to and takes his time to answer my questions.
