I chose internal medicine because I’m “very passionate about adult medicine,” and I value caring for people from all walks of life in our community. I treat many concerns tied to metabolic health, including diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and other chronic conditions. I also enjoy preventive care and patient education, so we can work to prevent disease development and support long-term wellness. My philosophy is to “incorporate the patient’s perspective” through shared decision-making. That means we talk about your lifestyle, what you value, and your goals for quality of life and health care. If you’re starting with primary care, know that “problems don’t get fixed overnight,” but with steady effort and my support, “significant change and even reversal” can be possible. I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed a Master of Biomedical Science at Eastern Virginia Medical School, and I’m board-certified in internal medicine.
