About Me

Dr. Hussain is a vascular and endovascular surgeon in Kankakee who treats artery and vein disease, diabetic vascular wounds and aneurysm disease. He provides specialized vascular surgery care for complex blood vessel conditions.

What I enjoy most about vascular surgery is the connection I build with patients and families over time. Vascular disease is becoming more common as people age, and I came to Riverside because this area can benefit from specialized vascular care close to home. Each day is different in this field, and that is part of what makes the work meaningful. No two patients ever require the same type of treatment. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, completed a general surgery internship and residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, and completed vascular and endovascular surgery fellowship training at Southern Illinois University. I am board certified in vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery. My clinical focus includes diabetic vascular disease and wounds, artery and vein disease, endovascular surgery and thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysm disease.
