Riverside Healthcare has announced the promotion of Kyle Benoit, MHA, to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

In this role, which took effect September 1st, Benoit is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight to Riverside Healthcare's operations. Reporting to Benoit will be the newly created role of Vice President of Clinical Services as well as the Vice President of Riverside Medical Group and the Vice President of Institutional Advancement. Additionally, the Directors of Cardiac Services, Facilities and Engineering and Riverside Medical Group Cardiology, Orthopedics, Neurosciences and Surgical Services will continue to report to him.
"In his time with Riverside, Kyle has shown tremendous leadership," said Phil Kambic, Riverside President and CEO. "Kyle has demonstrated a strong ability to fine tune operational areas to create maximum efficiency and ultimately have a very positive impact on the patient experience."
Benoit has worked at Riverside for over five years in various leadership positions. Most recently he has been serving as the Vice President of Operations. Prior to his current role, he held various leadership positions such as Vice President of Surgical Services and Interventional Services and Vice President of Clinical Services.
Benoit holds a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration as well as a Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Actively involved at Bishop McNamara Catholic School and with the United Way of Kankakee and Iroquois County, Benoit currently serves as chairman of the board for both organizations. He is also a youth soccer coach for Dynamo Soccer. He lives in Bourbonnais with his wife and four children.

Route 45/52 Closure Announcement Update

Road construction to effect Riverside Bourbonnais Campus. While a portion of Route 45/52 is closed in Bourbonnais between Burns Road and St. George access to Riverside’s Bourbonnais Plaza as well as the Riverside Cancer Institute and the Riverside Health Fitness Center is open to traffic coming from the north. Although signs at Rt. 45/52 indicate the road is closed south of St. George Road, access to the Riverside facilities remain open.
